Collaborating with multispecialty physicians to fulfill the mission of advancing education in venous and arterial disease through ultrasound—streamlining screening protocols, guiding interventions, and supporting long-term surveillance to improve patient outcomes.
Uniting care teams through education! — demonstrating how ultrasound can streamline and elevate patient care for both arterial and venous diseases.
From early screening to interventional mapping and ongoing surveillance, ultrasound plays a vital role in guiding timely treatment and improving long-term quality of life.
We're proud to share Universal U – is the only interactive vascular ultrasound course where physicians, sonographers, and the entire care team come together, not just to learn, but to collaborate at the bedside.
This past weekend in NJ Universal U attendees gathered around patients with complex vascular pathologies and work as a unified team to:
🔍 Strategize ultrasound image acquisition
🩺 Determine optimal vascular access points
🧠 Select wires and devices with precision
🧬 Discuss endovascular and/or medical therapy
This course wasn't about passive lectures — it’s was hands-on, team-based, and deeply clinical.
💬 One recent attendee said:
“The conversations, lectures, and faculty were incredible — absolutely worth the money to learn alongside such a thoughtful, engaged group.”
If you're passionate about breaking down barriers in care, sharpening your clinical edge, and elevating your team's coordination, Universal U is where you belong. Join us next year: April 25, 2026.

In 2025, vascular disease has evolved—Venous Thromboembolism (VTE) is increasingly affecting central veins, while Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) is progressing distally into the tibial and pedal arteries.
These trends demand more advanced ultrasound skills and stronger collaboration between sonographers and interpreting physicians to ensure accurate imaging, interpretation, and clinical action.
Despite the rapid advancements in CT, MR, Venography, and even AI, vascular ultrasound remains the gold standard, especially in evaluating both disease states.
Let's raise the standard together!
Universal U focuses on a dual-learning approach—
✅ Empowering sonographers with hands-on skills and critical thinking.
✅ Equipping interpreting physicians to extract meaning and make informed clinical decisions.

It’s time we do better—for our patients, our peers, and our profession. VTE doesn’t discriminate by age. It affects the young, the old, and everyone in between. The only real discrimination? Not educating ourselves.
✅ Education is the first step.
Too many people fall through the cracks because we miss the signs—or we don’t use the ultrasound tools at our disposal. With the incredible advancements in ultrasound technology, we now have the ability to identify VTE earlier, faster, and more accurately than ever before. Physicians, APN's and PA's can make informed, life-saving decisions with this technology—but only if we’re trained to use it and ready to act.
🔍 If you're a provider, invest in your education! Learn how VTE presents at Universal U on Saturday, May 31 and understand how bedside ultrasound can transform patient outcomes.
