Hunterdon Hospice Hosts Raffle Calendar Fundraiser

Hunterdon Hospice is excited to announce their 2nd annual Autumn Bounty Raffle - 30 days, 60 prizes, infinite gifts. This calendar raffle will award two prizes each day throughout the month of November, National Hospice & Palliative Care Month. Tickets are $20 each. Sales will run October 16th through October 31st, while supplies last, on Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays in the Hunterdon Medical Center lobby (11am - 5pm) and at the Wellness Centers in Clinton and Whitehouse Station (8:30am - 12:30pm). Additionally, tickets can be purchased from the Hunterdon Hospice office, located in the Paul Wirtz building, 215 Route 31, Flemington. (Monday - Friday 10am - 2pm).

Thanks to the tremendous efforts of the Hunterdon Hospice Volunteers and Staff, and the generosity of local businesses and individuals, $12,000 in prizes are available to win! Prizes include cash, items and gift cards for health & wellness, retail, restaurants, artisans & events. Purchasers of the one-month ticket will be entered for each prize drawn, so multiple wins are possible.
Proceeds from this event will provide support for unreimbursed services such as charity care, final wish projects, overnight care for the dying, specialized physician services, bereavement counseling and support groups. Hunterdon Hospice is dedicated to providing compassionate end of life care to members of our community at a time when it is most needed. Your support will help us make each day of life the best it can be.

Saying goodbye or see you later to a soul sister friend is never easy when you live a distance apart. Do you agree?

Synergy with anyone is a gift.

Part of the growth journey is letting go of things, situations, and even people that may not serve you anymore. Send those things, situations, and people love and know that in letting go, new beautiful things, situations, and people appear.

I got Stacey when I created space in my energy! Can you relate?

Love and light tonight as I breath in all the mindful moments and gratitude from this long weekend and let go of what no longer serves me.

I send healing energy to those that wish to receive it, blessings of gratitude, and the releasing of all that we no longer need that weighs us down to open us up to the new.

I love the older generations for their passed down wisdom from the experiences of their wild ride of life. This has been a quite a mindful Memorial Day weekend. •
•
A special soul friend named Sandra came to visit me and share her presence, her peace, her wisdom, her teachings as a spiritual teacher, and her love. •
•
Two things I learned that I am passing on during our talk and time together: •
•
1. There is no right way to meditate and the key is to be and listen; listen to the birds, to the sounds, to the rustling of the trees, and let go of sitting a certain way or in a certain place, just be. •
•
2. When you are triggered by a person’s reaction, breath and pause before reacting and get in touch with what’s happening in your body. What are you feeling? What is this bringing up? Then, communicate with the person about what is happening and what may be coming up from the past. •
•
And one more. So actually three! When a person you love may show anger or another uncomfortable emotion, remember anger or that emotion is not who they are. Anger is the experience they are having. Do not label them an angry person, for example, and instead help them unravel what is happening in that moment. •
•

I have learned, accepted, and embraced that I feel the most loved when; I am listened to, feel heard, given space to express my feelings and them be validated, understood at a deep level, and given a space to share free of judgement and filled with empathy; a space of trust and safety. •

I know so many others that need this space too. I feel blessed to have shared a secret piece of me with this beautiful lady near the lake feeling so loved this weekend. •
•
I promise to always be this space for anyone that may need it too. Sending all the love I am feeling in my heart and all the gratitude in my soul to all of you. •

When we are blocked, it’s a struggle to connect to love, feel grounded, experience clarity, and listen to our intuition. •

When our energy is stuck, it’s a challenge to feel the peace and love which is our birthright to connect with to help us navigate life. •

Give yourself the gift this weekend to take a moment to be silent, present, and appreciate the love that flows through us and around us. •
•
You are so loved. I needed to remember that too. So loved; exactly as you are, right here right now. That’s what unconditional love around us is all about. •
