Myofunctional therapy is a specialized approach that focuses on strengthening the muscles of the face, mouth, and tongue to improve breathing, speaking, eating, and even sleep.

Did you know that a lack of space between baby teeth can be an early sign of future dental crowding?
This often indicates that the palate hasn’t developed properly.

The palate forms the roof of the mouth and the floor of the nose. When it’s underdeveloped, it can restrict airflow, potentially affecting breathing and sleep quality. In fact, a narrow palate is a known risk factor for obstructive sleep apnea.

Myofunctional therapy can support healthy oral development by encouraging proper nasal breathing, lip closure, tongue resting posture, and swallowing patterns.
