Even though perinatal loss affects about 650,000 women in the United States each year, many women grieve in secret due to lack of social norms that show how others can support them.

The Healing After Loss (HeAL) Project is offering no cost counseling to women living in Michigan who have experienced perinatal loss (miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth, or the early death of a newborn) within the last 18 months and are struggling with a down or depressed mood as a result.
