"Adding grains like quinoa or brown rice will make a salad more filling," said McLaren Flint clinical dietitian Elexia Sylvester. "Top it with heart healthy fats like avocado, nuts, or seeds to sustain your energy. And of course, don't forget a protein source like beans, eggs or seafood."
