Today, we salute the brave men and women who have served our country with courage and sacrifice.
But as we honor their service, we must also recognize an urgent truth: veterans face higher cancer rates than the general population, including prostate, lung, and rare cancers. Service-related exposures such as burn pits, asbestos, and contaminated water have left lasting impacts that too many veterans deal with long after coming home.
This Veterans Day, let’s not only thank our heroes but also fight for their health. Together, we can raise awareness, support early detection, and ensure every veteran has access to the care they deserve. 💙🎗️
As always, if you or a loved one need support throughout your cancer journey visit www.UCAlliance.org and fill out our intake form and one of our support specialists will reach out as soon as possible!

Veterans and active service members of the U.S. armed forces have dedicated their lives to the safety and freedom of their country. However, that honorable service may place them at risk for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety, depression, and cancer.
