Sharing one of the many ways cataract surgery can improve quality of life. Dawn is a talented artist, who recently had cataract surgery with Dr. Waters. She said she was able to finish her painting within a few days after the procedure - all without glasses. Beautiful!!🥰

Fun fact: the retina in the back of the eye is only place in the body where blood vessels can be observed LIVE. Dr. Waters does this through a dilated eye exam and through retina photos. This type of exam is especially important for people with diabetes, since high blood sugar can damage blood vessels and cause swelling. Everyone with diabetes should have a yearly dilated eye exam to prevent damage to their vision.
