🚨 Hand of Hope’s School Giving Campaign: Building Hope Through Education 🚨

At Hand of Hope Thrift Boutique, our mission is to be the hands of hope—serving, supporting, and uplifting our community. By empowering youth, we are changing Flint and building a brighter future.

We’re offering small grants (up to $500) for teachers, mentors, student-led groups, clubs, and school initiatives that give students opportunities to grow and succeed. 🎓📚✏️

📌 How It Works:
• Apply for up to $500 by telling us what your group or initiative needs
• Applications will be reviewed, and selected groups will move on to a community vote
• The group with the most support will receive a bonus grant up to $500
• All winners will be invited to our Hand of Hope Celebration Event to showcase their work and be recognized 🎉

📅 Important Dates:
• Application Deadline: Friday, October 10 at 8 PM
• Community Vote: Monday, October 13 (10 AM) – Wednesday, October 15 (8 PM)
• A Google Form will be posted here and on handofhopeflm.com for voting
• This allows us to hear directly from students, families, and teachers impacted by these groups and initiatives 👩‍🏫👨‍🎓.

Hello Community - Flint Residential is in need of men’s tennis type shoes in gentle used/new condition in sizes 9-13. We also could use donations of men’s and women’s underwear all sizes and socks. Thanks!

Odyssey staff and residents from all parts of our community came together to create and design Overdose Awareness shirts. Together, we want to spread the message that overdose can be prevented and that support and resources are available.

Free Narcan is available at the Community Involvement Center, 932 Beach St, Flint MI, through our easy-to-use vending machine.
