Dr. Hardas is an associate clinical professor of Ob/Gyn for Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and actively participates in resident training at Genesys Regional Medical Center, Hurley Medical Center and McLaren Regional Medical Center. She has special interest in minimally invasive surgery and has been proficient in da Vinci robotic surgery.

Lichen Sclerosus -VS- Lichen Planus… they may sound similar, but they’re very different conditions 👇

Lichen sclerosus
✅ Thinning, whitening of the skin
✅ Commonly affects the v***a and perianal area
✅ Can cause itching, tearing, and discomfort with intimacy
✅ May lead to changes over time if untreated

Lichen planus
✅ Inflammatory, autoimmune condition
✅ Can affect the v***a and va**na (and even mouth/skin)
