Happy Black Breastfeeding Week!🤱🏽

It exists because of the disparities in breastfeeding rates, the disparities of black lactation professionals, because supplementation is pushed on black women more than anyone else, the lack of breastfeeding education received prenatally, the generational harm that was caused, and the harm that is caused TODAY!

Shout out to the mamas making it happen, their support systems, and to the lactation professionals in comminities.💪🏽
