Our office will close starting Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025 due to our daughter is having a heart bypass surgery. Therefore, for the next couple of weeks we will not have regular office hours. I will come into the office when I can. I will return all messages as soon as I am able. Please be patient if I don't answer right away. I hope to be back to normal business hours by Monday, November 3, 2025. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

I would like to thank the parents of Ivin Davis for choosing Avery Monuments. I can not imagine the grief that parents go through when they lose a child. No matter the age. I am thankful they allowed us to make this special monument for them.

Update on our daughter. We met with the doctor that will be doing her heart bypass surgery. He cancelled the thyroid surgery. He said the heart bypass has to be done within two to three weeks and she cannot have two major surgeries that close together. He scheduled her heart bypass for Monday, Oct. 13th. After she heals and the heart doctor releases her, then they will reschedule her thyroid surgery.

Today is Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2025. Today we will close the office at 2:30. I have to take our daughter to a heart doctor to discuss the heart bypass she will have to have. Tomorrow she is having surgery to remove her thyroid. We expect to reopen the office on Thursday, Oct. 2 at 9:30am. However, this is subject to change based upon how she is doing. If we do not reopen on Thursday, all messages will be returned when we do reopen. We do appreciate your understanding as we navigate these unusual times. Thank you.

I would like to thank the family of Rita Dunbar for picking Avery Monuments for her marker. I also want to thank them for allowing me to share two other photos. Mrs. Dunbar created the giraffe that you can ride on if you go to downtown Chattanooga at the park by the aquarium. Also attached is the photo of her giraffe when it was featured in a photo and this was hanging up at the Chattanooga Airport. this marker was created by love by her daughter in her mothers honor. Her mother had such talent.
