Clay County Rehabilitation (CCR) is the parent company and was incorporated in 1974 as a 501 ( c )3 corporation to provide vocational services to individuals with intellectual disabilities. In 1996, Clay County Industries was formed as the manufacturing division of CCR. This division currently occupies 37,000 square feet of manufacturing space. In 2007, Secure Processors was formed as a 501 ( c ) 3 to consolidate all the electronics recycling activities and marketing under one company. Although Clay County Rehabilitation Center, the parent company, Clay County Industries, the Manufacturing division, and Secure Processors, the Electronics Recycling Division, have defined activities; they each share a single purpose:

The mission of these companies is to provide vocational training, rehabilitation, and jobs for individuals with intellectual disabilities residing in Illinois. Currently, we are serving 140 individuals from Clay, Richland, Lawrence, Wayne, and Marion counties

Clay County Rehabilitation Center is now accepting applications for a Direct Support Personnel (DSP). This position is located at Clay County Rehabilitation Center Inc., 530 E. 4th St., Flora, Full-time, Monday-Friday, no weekends plus benefits include Retirement, Health, Life, Dental, Vision, and Vacation. Starting pay $16 per hour.

This year, our agency did 6 Project Child Christmas boxes. Each site doing 1 boy and 1 girl. Our individuals had a great time learning about how important these boxes are to the children receiving them. It was a nice reminder for us to be thankful for what we have.
