✝️🐰 FHR had a wonderful Easter celebration filled with joy, fellowship, and faith! 🐣💛 Residents enjoyed a special bunny visit from Dayspring Hospice, bringing smiles and sweet moments to everyone. The celebration also included a meaningful “He is Risen” service, reminding us of the true meaning of the season.

A huge thank you to Bishop Belcher and Brother Brent for joining us and helping make this celebration so special. We are grateful for these moments of connection and will continue to celebrate the Risen King! 🌷

💐🎉 Our precious resident, Sarah Simmons, had an absolutely wonderful couple of days filled with love, joy, and celebration! 💖 After a recent hospitalization, Ms. Sarah returned just in time to attend our Women’s Tea, where she enjoyed a lovely afternoon surrounded by warmth and fellowship. ☕👒

The very next day, she celebrated her 88th birthday with family and friends gathered near and far. 🎂✨ The room was filled with heartfelt stories, laughter, songs, and cherished memories as four generations of her family came together to celebrate her life. Happy Birthday, Ms. Sarah. We are honored to celebrate you! 🎈

💐☕ Yesterday, we wrapped up Women’s History Month with a lovely Women’s Tea, celebrating and reflecting on womanhood and all of its beauty and strength. 💖 Guests enjoyed a warm cup of tea, delicious petit fours, elegant hats, and most importantly wonderful company and lasting memories. 👒✨

A special thank you to our amazing community partners, Aveanna Hospice, CenterWell Home Health Care, Dayspring Hospice, Gentiva Hospice, and LHC HomeCare, for providing treats and helping serve during this special event. Your support made the day even more meaningful! 💙 We truly enjoyed our “ParTea” and the opportunity to celebrate such an inspiring group of women! 🌸

We are excited to see that the Alabama Nursing Home Association has recognized our very own Nicholas Adams during their celebration of "Careers in Aging Month" here in March. Nicholas is one of our dedicated support staff members here at Florala H&R, making sure our residents live in a healthy & clean environment.

🤝 As our Careers in Aging Month series continues, we’re proud to spotlight Nicholas Adams, a housekeeping team member at Florala Health and Rehabilitation, LLC with nearly 20 years of service.

From keeping residents’ spaces clean and comfortable to building meaningful relationships each day, Nicholas makes a difference in ways both big and small.

“I clean their rooms like I would for my own family,” he shared.
