Meet our team member, Tina Chandler, APRN, MSN, FNP-C!
With both her Master and Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Tina brings a variety of knowledge and a patient-centered approach to endocrinology. She began her career as a nurse practitioner in a vascular clinic and then spent a short time in plastic surgery. As a registered nurse, the majority of her experience comes from working in a high pace Level 1 Trauma Center as an adult emergency nurse. Tina feels that she has found her home here at Southern Diabetes Care, and she “enjoys watching each of my patients achieve the best versions of themselves and living healthy, prosperous lives.”

Meet another one of our awesome team members, Carsyn Burch, APRN, MSN, FNP-C.

Carsyn joined our team in 2024. With both a Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing, she brings a wealth of experience and a patient- focused approach to endocrinology. Carsyn finds great fulfillment in watching her patients achieve their health goals, and she firmly believes that successful outcomes depend on patients’ understanding of their conditions and individualized treatment plans.

“From the start of my career as a nurse,” Carsyn says, “I have made it my ambition to love people well and care for them accordingly. God’s plan in leading me to Southern Diabetes Care started long before I ever began nursing school, and I am forever grateful to be part of this team.”

This is Natalie Bradshaw, APRN, MSN, FNP-C.
Natalie is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with a comprehensive background in nursing and a specialization in endocrinology. Natalie has over a decade of diverse nursing experience in infectious disease, ambulatory surgery, solid organ transplant, medical- surgical nursing, and endocrinology. Natalie strives to empower her patients through education and personalized treatment plans.

Meet our Founder and Owner, Jamie Brewer, APRN, MSN, FNP-C.

Living with Type 1 Diabetes, Jamie prides herself on treating patients with all endocrine disorders. She also has a special interest in insulin pump therapy and continuous glucose monitoring. Jamie is also the only certified Eversence CGM inserted in the state of MS.

For Jamie, “Knowledge is key- and I want all of my patients to understand the plan of care but also the WHY!”
