Today is Sanctity of Human Life Sunday 💛
A day when many churches celebrate the value of life at every stage.

This Sunday also kicks off our Baby Bottle Campaign at many churches—a vital fundraiser that allows Shoals Sav-A-Life to provide all of our services completely free of charge.

Thank you to Woodmont Baptist Church and New Hope Baptist Church for welcoming two of our staff members to share more about our ministry.

We are deeply thankful for the opportunity to have served our community in 2025! This year, we welcomed 484 clients, performed 371 pregnancy tests, and provided 202 ultrasounds, resulting in 1,204 total client visits through our doors.

Over the previous five years (2020–2024), our annual client load averaged 373 clients, making 2025 a 30% increase over that average. We have been honored to share the love of Jesus and speak life throughout the Shoals community!

As we look to 2026, we have 198 babies listed in our reports with 2026 due dates. Each due date represents two parents, each with their own unique story. One of those stories represents a mother who came in this week and is currently facing a life-altering decision. Please join us in praying that this precious mom will choose life in 2026!

We’re so blessed to have a nurse on staff who is also a talented photographer! Hannah, RN offers a free newborn photo session during our post-partum parenting class.

This allows us to check in on mom, look for signs of post-partum depression, and make sure pediatrician appointments are being kept — all while capturing sweet memories of their precious baby!

What is Shoals Sav-A-Life? What is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is all about unleashing generosity to transform communities—and we've witnessed this at Shoals Sav-A-Life. Your support has transformed lives and brightened our community!

For anyone who may be new to us, or unsure of what we do, we’d love to reintroduce ourselves!

Shoals Sav-A-Life is a 501(c)(3) non-denominational ministry, established in 1994 to serve Franklin, Lauderdale, and Colbert Counties (and beyond). Our mission is:
“To promote the sanctity of life by sharing God’s love through evangelism, education, and support of people before, during, and after a crisis pregnancy.”

We offer free services to any woman—whether she is facing a crisis or not—including:
❤ Pregnancy tests
❤ STI tests
❤ Ultrasounds
❤ Parenting classes
❤ Material support

We welcome you if you or anyone you know could benefit from these services!

So far this year:
456 clients have been served (ages 15–42)
344 received a free pregnancy test
89 participated in at least one parenting class

It costs us roughly $400 for one client to receive our full program—from the initial pregnancy/STI test to completing five parenting classes, where she earns essential maternity and baby items including a new car seat (valued at $109.48).
With 89 people in classes this year, our Giving Tuesday goal is $35,600. This goal will also help us plan for the future and better meet the needs of our community.

We currently operate with a team of 5 staff members and 8 regular volunteers, working together to "love our girls and their babies" with the Gospel of Jesus Christ!
