Carolinas Dermatology Group of Florence Dr. Burch is a native of Florence, SC where she now practices dermatology. She graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

She was a registered nurse and worked in the Medical University of South Carolina Neonatal ICU for one year before returning to medical school there. She graduated summa cm laude from the Medical University of South Carolina’s College of Medicine in 2006. Her transitional internship was completed at Trident Medical Center. Subsequently, she completed her dermatology residency at the Medical Unive

rsity of South Carolina in 2010. Dr. Burch is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Her interests include skin care and aging, cosmetic dermatology, laser therapy, surgical and procedural dermatology, skin cancer and pediatric dermatology. Dr. Heather McCown, originally from Summerville, SC, attended Wake Forest University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry. She went on to receive her MD from the Medical University of South Carolina, in Charleston. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine at MUSC and went on to finish a residency in Dermatology at MUSC. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She is involved with teaching residents at the McLeod Family Medicine Residency Program in Florence. Dr. McCown has been practicing dermatology for over 10 years in Florence, SC. Her interests include general dermatology, dermatologic surgery, skin cancer, pediatric dermatology, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Noah Kahn is a native of Gastonia, NC and now practices dermatology in Florence, SC. After graduating from North Carolina State University in 1998, Dr. Kahn served eight years in the United States Navy as a reconnaissance pilot and recruiting officer. He earned his medical degree from East Carolina University with honors and completed a post graduate year in Internal Medicine at Pitt Country Memorial Hospital. He then finished his residency in dermatology at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. His interests include general dermatology, dermatologic surgery, skin cancer, pediatric dermatology and cosmetic dermatology.
