Circle Park Circle Park provides behavioral health services related to alcohol, to***co and other drug abuse with office locations in Florence, Lake City and Hemingway

We believe that addiction is preventable and treatable. However, it is not a simple problem with a simple solution. It is a life threatening disease that affects people of all ages, races, economic levels, and educational backgrounds. At Circle Park we combine treatment, intervention, and prevention to deal not just with the symptoms of abuse and addiction, but also with their causes. We also provide family therapy for those who need help coping with overwhelming personal problems and difficult family situations. Our counselors are trained to deal with couple’s issues, children’s behavioral problems, family crises, and a wide variety of other problems.

Peer support offers emotional support and shares hope through their recovery story. They lead groups and come alongside people to create spaces where they can find compassion and a community that understands them through lived experience.

In recognition of Recovery Month, our Peer Support Specialists wanted to share what recovery means to them.

“Recovery, for me, is my journey in personal growth and transformation from darkness to the light. Coming from a lost, hopeless, defeated state of mind to a place of love, self-discovery, acceptance, and peace. Recovery reminds me that I am human and it allows me to show myself some grace and take it one step at a time while I find my way.” - Victoria
