North Alabama Medical Center is located in the heart of Florence, Alabama, with medical campus locations throughout the Shoals area. This facility serves as a regional facility with more than 200 physicians on staff who represent more than 42 specialty areas of medicine. This 263-bed facility offers a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient services, including those offered at North Alabama Cancer Center, the OASIS Emergency Unit, and our Center for Women and Children. North Alabama Medical Center is the community’s only open-heart surgery site, with a complete line of medical and imaging services. We are proud to announce that Ashley Poss, CNA, has been named the North Alabama Medical Center BEE Award winner for the 4th Quarter of 2025!
The BEE Award recognizes our extraordinary support staff who go above and "bee-yond" for our patients. Ashley was nominated by a family who will never forget the compassion she showed their loved one on New Year’s Eve.
