In 14 yrs of practice, I've been propositioned once. I got him blacklisted from the franchise. Now I'm the practice. And I will report a person to the authorities if I'm asked. Tis Friday!! The 13th no less. The last time it was Fri the 13th before St Pattys day was 2020 🫣 I was 7 mos pregnant and the world was shutting down. Fast forward 6 years, I'm recovering from a hysterectomy and, well, I need not say more about the world 💩🔥
A cycle is closing, and we all feel it 🫶 whether personally or externally, we feel it. As Above, So Below!

My downtime is coming to its end, quickly too. There is still room to get on my schedule in April, so for those who have been patiently waiting, I'm back online 🥳 Scan the QR code below to get yourself back on track. I visited my office yesterday, I'm getting eager. I've missed you guys!

Alright, changes! I'm trying something different this summer. I'm taking one week off in June and July, no worries I am opening up extra days the other weeks. Gonna enjoy some summer time fun with my girl.

Price increase. I know, everything is skyrocketing 😢 I am trying to remain as fair as possible and yet not fall behind industry averages given my tenure. They will be as follows effective my return on 4/1.

Monday..... Monday....

Hello everyone,

I was hoping to be more motivated and have my proverbial s**t together to re-activate online booking by now, but nope 🤣🤣

Let's be real here, the world blew up while I've been recovering and it's a bit hard to think about business. We all have our rabbit holes and lately mine include bug out bag essentials, which country is the best option when the fallout begins, and homeschooling. The "crazy' in me sees the crazy in it all.

The good part is that I am healing, very well. Earthing it out while the Sun warms our winter worn Souls; finding bliss in the mundane of dishes, laundry, plant plotting, senior kitty cuddles, and home cooked meals with my Lil. Slow and steady.

I still have some changes to implement before reactivation. I'm giving myself till Fri to get my s**t done aka return to "normal" 😂 There will be price adjustments, and blocked out wks during summer break. Working out all the kinks while enjoying the downtime.

Praying everyone is enjoying this weather. It is an instant mood booster🤩

Alright, I knew my sabbatical was fast approaching but reality is knocking on my door.

It has been an exhausting 6wks, and my body is happy to have 6wks off. My mind is, well, a lost cause at this point given current events 🤣 Emotionally, a hormonal rollercoaster but thankfully my Spiritual side holds steady in the storm that is Amanda.

To truly unplug, I've momentarily deactivated online booking. I will resume on 3/1. I will respond to requests then as well.

I'm tired folks, no lie. Being a sole practitioner and solo mom is tough work, requires 💯 of me 💯 of the time. I'm also an intuitive witnessing our massive Spiritual warfare, I'm being called to unplug. My surgery is Spirit's way of ensuring I do it, like a highlight reel from the Matrix. Just call me Neo. 🤣🤣🤣

My last day in office is tmrrw. If I haven't reached back out for April's schedule, I will then. My apologies, life is definitely lif-ing. I'm just now getting my Christmas tree down while prepping for Tues 😆 🤦

It's Friyay in our first full week of this year and wow, is all I gotta say 🥴 Despite the external noise of the world, there's a lot of 6 yro smiles in the everyday, my little glimmers of hope, joy, and Love. Tiny daily pauses in the smiling eyes of my Lil 🥰

But I post because there's an even longer pause I will be taking. As of Tues 2/17, I will be out till 4/1. Yup that long of a pause is needed when recovering from a hysterectomy....wah wah. For anyone who knows me, knows this is a forced downtime. Spirit said it's time to pause, fully rest, and renew. The timing is beyond synchronistic, astrologically speaking so I know that is a vital time in my own Spiritual path. I'm heeding the call, accepting the Divine invitation to complete a very long healing journey.

There are very few spots left to book between now and then. I am working a ton leading up to the big day so feel free to DM, I may be able to squeeze ya in, no guarantees tho. Most of my "off" days have already been booked lol

Please only book online for any dates till Feb. I will be deactivating online booking Feb 1st. I have no idea what my days will look like when I come back. I will need to give myself ample breaks between to ensure proper recovery, therefore, I gotta control my book a little tighter.

I apologize to any of my clients who are now just receiving the news, I have been trying to prepare all of my currently booked for a couple wks now. If I missed ya, I'm sorry, my mind has short circuited a few times this past month. Feel free to DM with any questions.

My Story

Welcome! What is Karuna? Pronounced ˈkəru̇ˌnä meaning compassionate action and is one of the fundamental tenants of Buddhism. As an experienced LMT and newly certified CST, I'm constantly striving for my clients to feel nothing less than amazing when the session is over. Since our Western mentality can leave us anxious, overwhelmed, fatigued and; in increasing number of cases, chronically pained, I utilize a variety of modalities to ease all those symptoms. As a fellow chronic pain sufferer, I know what it takes to get up and "adult" everyday. Providing relief is beyond rewarding and has led me to chase after a bigger vision; building a multi-faceted Healing Center. This adventure started two years ago as I branched on my own making wonderful connections along the way. After endless support, inspiration, and necessary challenges, I have laid the foundation for such a center. This is Karuna Touch & Healing. It is a humble beginning; however, as the casual historian in me likes to remind myself and others: Rome was not built in a day. I still have a lot of work to look forward to.
