Psychologist and counselor info. Licensed psychologists like myself with rigorous clinical training and a 12-month APA approved internship are Ph.D.s licensed through the state psychology board. Licensed counselors (LPCs) have master's degrees (or PhDs through on-line programs) and are licensed by the state counseling board.

This link has been made for years but most recently "data from countries such as Denmark and Scotland suggest a worsening surge in hospitalizations for cannabis-linked psychosis and schizophrenia."

"To put a 25 percent figure in context, genetic factors are generally said to account for about half of the risk of schizophrenia. This estimate would imply that cannabis use now carries roughly half as much as risk overall as a genetic predisposition to the illness."

This stunning figure - from a Danish researcher last week at a top international psychiatry conference - spells a mental health crisis and a crushing blow for advocates of cannabis legalization.

"It's so much work!" Cracks me up no matter how many times I play it. Talk about "Glass Man" ("shattering" with emotional reactivity). Set your kids up for success by helping them learn frustration tolerance to cope with "real life" when young! (E.g., you can't always have your way/do what you want/win, need to work before play/earn privileges, etc.)
