Thanks to a generous donation of 10 pallets of dry dog food from United Pet Fund, we’re excited to host a drive-thru pet food pantry this weekend!

This event is to support community members who may be struggling to keep up with the cost of pet food and ensure pets can stay happy, healthy and at home with their families.

3952 Madison Pike, Covington, KY
📅 Saturday, April 11 | 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (or while supplies last)
🐶 Limit one bag of dog food per car. Must be a Kenton County resident. Only dry dog food available.

Our pet food pantry runs 100% on donations and is only available to Kenton County residents. If you would like to support the pantry, we accept donations daily. For more information about pet food assistance, stop into the shelter to speak with our team during open hours.

On World Health Day, we wish to address our wildly popular and highly anticipated low-cost vaccine clinic scheduled for Thursday in collaboration with Mission Veterinary Medical Center and Florence Fire & EMS. With up to 35 spots available, which is fewer than we anticipate will be needed, we encourage interested individuals to take advantage of this offer and come out. If you arrive and are unable to receive service, please visit our table to provide your information, and we will assist with scheduling and exploring alternative vaccine pricing options. For our folks in our southern service area... If The Economic Veterinary Initiative is too far away, PLEASE check out this amazing resource!

The Kentucky Humane Society's CARE-a-van is bringing FREE cat spay/neuter surgeries to Grant County residents on Tuesday, April 21st at the Oaks Groove Building in Grant County Park.

Appointments are required and can be made at https://www.kyhumane.org/services/khs-care-a-van/ . Look for the Oaks Grove Building Location. Spaces are limited and if that location does not show up in your search, then all slots are full.

There is a $25 deposit per cat that will be refunded when you attend your appointment. You can sign up for multiple cats, but you must make an appointment and pay the deposit for each cat.
