After being in the same location for 30 years, we realize that we blend into the environment and people forget who we are! Forgive us while we reintroduce us!
Derek Puckett opened in Florence in 1996 when there was nothing here to serve the area. He grew up in the area, went to church here, served for years on the volunteer fire department, and has a heart for the community. Fresh off a mobilization for Desert Shield/Storm with 20th Special Forces Group, he chose Physical Therapy as his forever job. He has studied under some giants in orthopedics like James Andrews (https://andrewsinstitutesc.com/surgeons/andrews/) and was fortunate enough to work with the 1994 University of Alabama gymnastics team athletes. As a certified weight trainer, Physical Therapist, martial artist, and medic with experience in a Special Forces environment, he has had an opportunity to work with some of the best athletes on the planet! Also, as he works out in The Fitness Plex, he is constantly fielding questions about aches, pains, and injuries. It has been his life’s work. By continuing to add to his training, Derek Puckett lives to provide the most up to date treatment for the professional athlete, division one athlete, high school athletes, weekend warriors, employees injured on the job, or someone recovering from a total joint replacement!
