Jody's Optical is now Southern Sight!

Don't worry - it's the same great staff and caring physicians. We just needed a new name for our newly updated office.

The FDA has issued a voluntary recall of Systane Lubricant Eye Drops PF in single vials with lot number 10101 with an expiration date of 2025/09. Please check your supply and if your lot is 10101, discontinue use immediately and return the supply to the place of purchase for replacement or refund.

Our office will be a hurricane relief collection location. Local collections will be brought to the areas affected by Hurricane Helene to the Lauderdale County Fire Department this Saturday. If you can donate supplies, we will ensure they receive them to be transported. Supplies currently needed are:

- Contractor Sized Trash Bags
- First Aid Supplies
- Feminine Hygiene Products
- Hand Sanitizer
- Toilet Paper
- Mouthwash
- Bleach
- Shovels
- Brooms
- Disposable Gloves
- Coolers
- Flashlights
- Batteries
- Bottled Water
- Peanut Butter
- Jelly
- Crackers
- Canned Chicken and Tuna (pop tops if possible)
- Canned Ravioli and Pasta (pop tops if possible)
- Shelf stable, non-perishable food items
- Toothbrushes; Toothpaste
- Baby Formula
- Diapers
- Animal Food
- Gallon Zip Lock Bags

We will continue to collect supplies after this week in our office, with supplies going to the American Red Cross.

There will also be a drop location at the St. Florian October Fest this weekend.
