A group of postpartum parents have made a Seven Sisters Midwifery & Community Birth Center team (and flyer!) for this year's ! Join or donate to our team, "Seven Sisters Postpartum Prancers"!
Thank you so much for organizing this team in our name! We are excited to join in on the excitement and cause!
We’re so excited to share that a familiar face is stepping into a new role here at Seven Sisters! Samantha (Sam) Carrier has been with us as a nurse for the past two years, and she’s now officially a Midwife!
Sam recently graduated from the Baystate Midwifery Education Program with her Master’s in Midwifery from Thomas Jefferson University. Over the next few months, she’ll be seeing clients while being mentored by our midwifery team, and she can’t wait to meet even more of the Seven Sisters families.
She loves supporting people through all stages of life and reproductive journeys, with a special passion for pelvic pain and endometriosis care.
Join us in giving Sam a warm welcome in her new role — we’re so lucky to have her on our team!

🎉✨ Happy 5 Years, Seven Sisters Birth Center! ✨🎉
This month we’re celebrating five beautiful years of welcoming families through our doors — and 808 babies!
We are filled with gratitude for our founders, Ginny Miller and Kirsten Kowalski, whose vision and dedication made history by opening the first freestanding, midwife-run birth center in Massachusetts. Because of their courage and commitment, hundreds of families have had the opportunity to experience birth in a space centered on safety, respect, and love.
To every family who has entrusted us with their birth journey, and to our incredible team of midwives, staff, and supporters — thank you for being part of this community. Here’s to the next chapter and many more babies to come!
