Life Recovery Center

Vision: Life Recovery Center will decrease recidivism and increase treatment success rates in Northern Kentucky by providing post-treatment , long-term , Christian-based recovery support.

Mission: To be the bridge from brokenness to wholeness through Christ. To be a safe place to reveal your life controlling problems and experience restoration. To improve your relationship to self, to improve your relationships with others, and improve your relationship with God.

Life Recovery Center is a Christian-based non-profit designed to create an environment that promotes recovery, community, and positive life-change. LRC is open daily and provides faith-based recovery and discipleship groups as well as traditional recovery groups (AA and NA). With the high rate of relapse, a gap exists in the space between the completion of treatment or incarceration and long-term recovery. Many people excel in the controlled environment of a treatment center; but when they return to their old, familiar places, recovery becomes increasingly difficult and often-times nearly impossible. People new to recovery are often unemployed and find they have an excessive amount of unoccupied time and little in the way of positive interactions. LRC fills that void with recovery focused engagement through fellowship, groups, and peer support to assist with daily obstacles common to people new to recovery.

Life Recovery Center will build relationships with area treatment providers to engage clients prior to treatment discharge. The early engagement will increase the chances of that client remaining engaged and remaining successful in recovery. Early and consistent engagement will foster higher success rates for area treatment providers and reduce the amount of recidivism. By creating an accessible, healthy environment, clients can have the time and guidance to develop new habits and reinforce positive and permanent lifestyle changes.
