The Sixth District Morticians Association will meet on today Monday, February 19th at 6 pm at Lil Jazzi’s Restaurant located at 163 North Dargan Street in Florence, SC. Please come dressed to take pictures. The cost is $20.00 per person whether you eat or not.

Sixth District Governor Mealings

Good Evening!

I hope this email finds you well! This may be a little lengthy, but I want to remind everyone of a few upcoming events that will take place over the next few months. It is very important that we have as many members attend the next three meetings as possible.

We have to choose a Professional of the Year at the February meeting, so that individual has time to submit his or her paperwork to the state association by the March deadline. The requirements have been attached to this email. Please submit names to Dr. Flossie Bartell-Jackson or members of the Awards Committee right away.

Also, this is an election year. The Nomination Committee will be established at the February meeting as well. Elections will take place at the April Meeting for the offices of Governor, Vice Governor, Secretary, Assistant Secretary, and Treasurer.

Membership and Convention Dues will be collected at the March Meeting.

Please also be mindful that this is a License Renewal Year. Please make sure that you have acquired the necessary CEU's for renewal.

I know that I am missing a few e-mail addresses. Please forward this information to anyone that may not be included in this e-mail. Thank you so much!
