The power of cupping!
Saturday I was stung by a hornet or a yellow jacket. I’m not sure which one, but it doesn’t matter because it was extremely painful! Today I am still experiencing quite a bit of itching and pain still so I decided that with my knowledge of cupping (how it moves fluids in the body)that I would practice cupping on it.
The pictures included are
1) Before cupping, redness, swelling especially near the toenail. Pain and intense itching present.
2) After 2-3 minutesof cupping and then an hour break, around the toenail you can see much less swelling, some normal coloring seems to be returning to the middle of my toe. There is almost no pain at all and itching has gone down significantly.
3) Another 2-3 minutes light cupping with another hour break. The swelling has gone down even more and almost no redness on top of foot and toe. No itching at all.
I am pretty satisfied with results! It’s nice to have a visual confirmation of the difference that massage and cupping can do.
