Let's do a HEART check. 💚

Ask yourself: Am I...

•Hurting?
•Exhausted?
•Angry?
•Resentful?
•Tense?

These simple questions can reveal a lot about where we're at and where we are lacking surrender.

Whether you're identifying with one or many of these, let it be an indicator and encouragement to take one step toward a healthier heart and mind.

Pray.

Matthew 11:28 NET
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."

Psalm 147:3 NET
He heals the brokenhearted, and bandages their wounds.

Philippians 4:6-7 NET
Do not be anxious about anything. Instead, in every situation, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, tell your requests to God. And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Did you know a bud contains all the things necessary to produce fruit?

❓️What's a key component for the fruit to come?

🌱Connection to the vine or the branch, the source of its life.

It's the same for us.

Do you want to grow and produce fruit in your life?

🌿Stay connected to the Vine.

Does your life feel fruitless or dead, with very little to nothing positive to show?

Do you see broken progress by bad habits interrupting, cycles of broken relationships because your hurt or hang-ups?

Are you connected to Jesus?

He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. 🧡

"I give you a new commandment-to love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. Everyone will know by this that you are my disciples-if you have love for one another."

If you've experienced His hope in your life - seen chains loosen and break, deliverance from your own personal pit - share that with those God places in your life.

Let your recovery have a ripple effect.

For this is the way God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world should be saved through him.

2 Corinthians 5:17
So then, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; what is old has passed away-look, what is new has come!

Jesus died for all of us. He died for you.
He loves you that much.

But would He be loving to let us stay in our mess?
We can be made new through Christ!

The chains are broken by Jesus.

You can live free from the habits you are stuck in.

You can live healed from the hurts that have pained you for years upon years.

You can live without burdens of hang-ups Satan wants you to bear.

Come, brokenhearted let rescue begin
Come find your mercy, O sinner, come kneel
Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't heal

Vicki and Amber (that's me 👋) attended the CR Training Conference in Indianapolis this weekend! It was a packed day full of learning, information, and connection. God is doing great things in and through Celebrate Recovery!

It was awesome to meet leaders and hear stories of God stepping in and working out the junk in lives, then turning around and using the recovery stories to reach so many. That's what He does! 🙌

We cannot wait to see what lies ahead for CR as a whole and for our group at Torch Celebrate Recovery! It is a true privilege to be used by God to share what He has done in us and what He wants to do for you. 🧡

God has a version of you that is so much greater than the one fear and comfort have kept you from becoming. But getting there requires letting some things go. The question is, are you willing?
