Marriott’s OceanWatch Resort hosted its Torch Relay on Monday, October 27 in support of McLeod Children’s Hospital. The event began with an inspiring story from the McVicker Family, who shared their experience with their son's and grandson's early days in the NICU at McLeod Children’s Hospital. Following their heartfelt message, participants took part in a three-mile beach walk and returned to a celebration featuring food, music, a silent auction, and plenty of fun.

We are sincerely grateful to Marriott Vacation Club for their continued partnership and dedication to helping children in our community.

The McLeod Seacoast Fellows learned about McLeod Cancer Services at their October meeting.

During their October meeting, the Coastal McLeod Foundation Fellows learned about McLeod Cancer Services in Horry County.

The class heard from Courtney Stark, a Dosimetrist with Radiation Oncology, Oncologist Dr. Kerolos Rizk and Nicole Spencer, Director of Oncology Services. They also toured the McLeod Center for Cancer Treatment and Research located on the McLeod Health Seacoast
campus.

These community leaders give their time to learn about the issues facing health care and how McLeod Health Seacoast is addressing these issues to ensure excellent health care for our region.
