The Shoals area's longest running walk-in clinic! We are open Every Day from 7:00a - 7:00p.

We offer services for primary care, physicals (DOT/HealthCard, sports, etc.), drug screens, orthopedics, wound care, and more! The purpose of this page is to help us stay in touch with our community. We will update you on health news, and notify you about any temporary changes to our hours. We cannot give direct medical advice over the internet or phone, so we ask that you come see us if you have medical questions. Our Urgent Care Center offers walk-in patients quick, quality care without the ER cost. Our primary purpose is to treat episodic, minor illnesses and injuries that require prompt, professional medical attention. We have lab and x-ray capabilities available on-site to provide quick and comprehensive care. Our General Family Practice offers service for ongoing and preventative care such as yearly check-ups and medication management for diabetes, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure. For this week's installment of , we feature our goofiest provider, Manson!

Manson has been practicing with us for about five years and, similar to our other providers, splits his time between here and the emergency room!

When he isn't working, Manson spends most of his time with his wife of 25 years, Sharon, his best friend, Marley (the family Great Dane), and their children. He enjoys woodworking, peanut butter, golfing, Diet Sundrop, and watching Alabama football (Roll Tide!🐘); however, his main passion is competitive power-lifting. He even holds a United States bench press record for his age class! 🏋💪

Come visit us any day of the week from 7 AM to 7 PM and you might even see him in person (birthday hat not included)! 🎉👨‍⚕️

For this week's , we have our Orthopedic Physician Assistant, Debbie! If you have ever broken a toe, twisted an ankle, or tweaked your back, you probably recognize her. 🩻😉

Debbie boasts an impressive background, having authored a book, instructed many physician assistants, practiced extensive orthopedic surgery, and established an orthopedic surgery fellowship at San Bernardino County Hospital.

Debbie spends most of her time nowadays with her newly relocated father (all the way from California!), her husband, Steve, and their mini blue heelers - P**t, Allie, and Kassie! 🐾

In her free time, Debbie enjoys hands-on creative pursuits, such as woodworking, leather-crafting, and building projects. She hopes to retire soon where she can focus on cultivating her small farm across the street and spending time with her animals. Debbie's passion for agriculture stems from her upbringing on a farm, her previous employment in a slaughterhouse, and her involvement in the Future Farmers of America!

This week's Monday is our Primary Care Specialist, Gretta Littrell!

Gretta has been with us for about about a year and a half as Pache's receptionist, medical assistant, and everything in between!

Gretta has a true passion for primary care, ensuring patients feel their best, and making a difference. She loves to help people and in our opinion, she's very good at it!

She spends majority of her off time with her husband, Jamie and her three awesome kids - Kade, Brock, and Gemma. Gretta is a self-proclaimed "tomboy" through and through thanks to her love of baseball (she's even a coach!), being outside, fishing, and working out. She loves to listen to music and dance especially and has a special passion for cooking. Her family owned a restaurant for years and it stuck with her for sure! 👩🏻‍🍳🔥

For this week's Monday, we are featuring none other than Ashley Robinson!

Ashley has been a part of the Med Plus family for over 18 years now and knows the clinic like the back of her hand. As Emily's right hand woman, she helps handle all of our insurance claims, billing, worker's compensation cases, and receptionist tasks.

Ashley spends majority of her time watching sci-fi tv shows with her husband, Patrick, when she isn't hanging out with us. She loves to spend her time thrifting, playing video games (especially Dragon Age, Harry Potter, and Skyrim), creating diamond art, reading, and shopping local yard sales. She also collects memorabilia from the Wizard of Oz, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and all things unicorns! 🦄

This week's spotlight for our Mondays is the man behind it all, Michael Osborne!

Michael has built the literal framework upon which Med Plus operates. Our entire system is his creation and he has been with us for 40 years this year! He is a department all on his own where he manages every IT issue (he loves hearing from us at 7 AM 😜), all of the maintenance for the clinic, and of course feeds the cats outside! Michael is the one we call for any problem and we can depend on him to know all of the answers (or at least pretend to until he can figure it out).

When asked about his favorite memory from 40 years of Med Plus, he couldn’t pick just one - until he remembered the day a provider kicked off his shoe at the nurse’s station and revealed toes painted bright red! 😂💅🏼

Michael loves to spend his time reading, taking care of small critters, and gardening/landscaping - especially his roses! He thoroughly enjoys watching animated movies & anime's! Fun Fact about Michael - he absolutely adores all things Christmas and has a slight aversion to raccoons...
