ElderCare Services is a local, independent, family-owned agency serving the Shoals Area of northwest Alabama (Lauderdale & Colbert counties). Jean Gay Mussleman and Dee Mussleman have operated this business since 1996. ElderCare provides non-medical home care, which includes personal care and personal hygiene, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, ambulating and medication reminders. We also do meal preparation, light housekeeping and transportation. The goal of our service is to help senior citizens continue living at home safely, happily and comfortably. All of our caregivers are required to pass thorough background checks, and since our caregivers are employees (W-2) of ElderCare, they are bonded, covered by workers comp and liability insurance, and we pay all payroll taxes.
