I had the honor to travel and haul a client of mine’s horse to find him a saddle today 😊 We went to Maricopa first to 4G Ranch and Tack Supply as well as Crazy Horse in Apache Junction. We found a saddle close to his specs in Maricopa but it still wasnt the “perfect” fit so I told his owner lets try another place just in case.
We got to Crazy Horse and found a beautiful Synergist saddle.
✨ It fit his paper tracing and it was within his specs he needed!! It fit Short Tail like a glove and it was THE ONE. I am soooo happy we waited and looked at one more place before making a decision.
⚠️ Buying a saddle is a big purcase and finding one that fits is vital to your horse’s safety and comfort.
⛔️ Never rush a saddle purchase. There are many factors to a western saddle can affect fit. You should NOT just “shim it up” . Shims do more harm than good, just ask the pressure sensor mat!
✅ We are all about going above and beyond for our clients to find the right saddle fit for their horse.
✅ You receive a tracing with instruction on how to fit it to a saddle you are interested in purchasing.
✅ You will know what bar angle, gullet width, and bar spread that your horse needs and more.

This is the narrowest horse I have worked on!
🐴 Missouri Fox Trotter gelding
He measures at:
✅ 78 to 80 degrees for bar angle
✅ 5.75” gullet width (but i want the bars dropped lower to help his wither clearance so 6” or 6 1/4” gullet
✅ 11” bar spread

💡 His owner was smart to buy a western saddle that you can adjust or what we call “flock”,

🤠 I am greatful to have been introduced to this saddle. It is called “Specialized Saddle” from TW Saddlery and you can fully customize your bars. The Gullet width is trickier to customize but the bar angle customizations you can make are fantastic!!

We finally got this boy fitted to a saddle. He has been swimming in a saddle for some time that measured over 90 degrees and had a 7” gullet. I am so excited for him and his owner’s new chapter. I know she’s relieved! This is going to make a HUGE difference for him 💯❤️‍🩹

✨ Had the pleasure to work on this little guy named Bambino yesterday.
🐴 Bambino is deaf and he had a lot of tension in his face, jaw, and sinuses as well as some stress points near his tail head and in his pelvis, hip, lower back, and hindquarters.
👂 Deafness can relate to tension throughout the body
He really benefitted from the massage today!
He is going to be a service pony for our community in the near future. So cool!

Hey clients, friends, and followers! I don’t have saddles available very often but I have this nice one. Its a Circle Y Barrel Saddle 15” seat. it measures 92 degrees for bar angle, and has a 7” gullet width.
It was very well cared for. Only reason for selling is we are going to all reining/cow horse saddles 😊

✨ Getting Circulation to tight muscles is SO important to prevent the fascia from getting to the point where it gets so tight that it:
❌ becomes a restrictive net and loses its “glide” and flexibility
❌ Dries out and compresses nerves
❌ Leads to development of trigger points/stress points (“knots”)
❌ Pulls on skeletal structures and starts to create an imbalance on one side of the horse

🤕 Fascia gets tight due to lack of movement, loss of flexibility, chronic emotional or mental stress, injury/trauma, and from repetitive overused motions.
🐎 Mr. Quinn here recently was pulled off the track. He unfortunately experienced more than one of these factors, leading to tight fascia.

Loosening up fascia with massage and friction brings circulation back to the area. It stimulates the nerve cells, causing tingling sensations. It can make a horse feel like they are being scratched.

❤️‍🩹When you see the face that Quinn made in this video, thats the sign circulation is getting back to the area.
