We try to eat salmon once to twice a week (2nd time is leftovers!). It is recommended to eat 2 (4oz) servings of omega-3 fish per week. Salmon is low in saturated fat, a great source of protein, and rich in omega-3 fatty acids. Omega-3s have many health benefits including reducing the risk of cardiovascular and heart disease.
It has been found to lower cholesterol, decrease triglycerides, and lower blood pressure. Beyond heart health, Omega-3 fatty acids may play a protective role in brain function, cancer and inflammation.
Thank you for the delicious baked salmon crispy rice cakes. Would recommend serving this dish to guests, definitely a crowd pleaser! Also used less sugar and didn’t have cilantro, chilis or red onion for garnish. Next time I will try the chilis on half for those that prefer it spicier! Enjoy!

Salmon Baskets and Asian Cucumber Salad were a hit! Salmon baskets were made with seaweed as baking cups, rice, and salmon. Added avocado as garnish. Baked Latkes Cups were a hit! You can be creative with toppings. We tried lite sour cream with fresh dill and unsweetened applesauce with cinnamon. Much easier and healthier than frying, used a muffin tin and super easy cleanup. Thank you for this delicious recipe. This one in a keeper 😉Happy Chanukkah! 🕎
