Sharing my journey with you all so you can see what REAL results are in REAL time!

Side note: i have absolutely no shame in going out in public like this. Aesthetic treatments are so widely accepted now…there is no reason to be hiding after doing something for yourself and for your skin!

got me GOODDDD and i can’t wait for my results!!

If you want glowing skin, CO2 laser is the way to go. DM me with any questions about this procedure!

Now that I’m fully healed, I had to give a little review because I’m genuinely BLOWN AWAY!!

CO2 resurfacing works by creating controlled thermal injury to the skin to stimulate collagen, improve texture, even out pigment, and tighten. My results are sooooo good. My texture, pigment, and overall smoothness are noticeably better.

Recovery for me was very manageable with minimal discomfort, and downtime varies from person to person depending on skin type and settings. I’m already planning my next session in February because collagen remodeling continues to improve over time and treatments can be layered for even better results.

You don’t have to feel miserable to see results on GLP-1 meds!

Fuel your body, hydrate properly, prioritize protein, and slow down when needed.

Sustainable results start with feeling well and healthy!

Day 3 Post CoolPeel ✨

Still have a lot of the rough texture but it is starting to smooth out as the old skin sheds.
Dark pigment continues to flake off, revealing brighter skin underneath.

Redness is pretty much gone, swelling is resolved, and there is still no pain or discomfort.

This is a typical stage of CoolPeel recovery, but healing timelines can vary depending on skin type and treatment settings.

Day 2 Post CoolPeel ✨

Swelling is almost completely gone.
No pain or heat sensation at all.
Skin feels very rough like sandpaper.
Dark pigment is getting darker and starting to shed.

This is a normal part of the healing process, but downtime can look different for everyone. Some people experience more redness or swelling, and that is still totally normal!!

Trust the process 🤍

Day after CoolPeel Fusion recovery update ✨

I don’t have any pain or heat sensation.

What I’m experiencing today:
• sandpaper-like texture
• dark spots getting darker (a good sign that pigment will shed)
• redness continuing to fade
• mild under-eye swelling

This is a typical part of the recovery period, but it’s important to remember that downtime looks different for everyone. Some patients may have more redness, more swelling, or both, and that can still be completely normal.

Laser recovery isn’t one-size-fits-all. The key is following post-procedure care and allowing the skin to heal on its own timeline 🤍

Provider POV: getting the treatment I recommend 🤍

I’m about 5 hours post coolpeel fusion and here’s what recovery actually feels like in real time:

• skin feels tight
• the heat sensation is gone
• redness is present but not too bad
• minimal swelling

I’m doing all of normal activities and staying consistent with all of my post-procedure products to support healing and optimize results.

Sharing this so you know what’s normal, what to expect, and why this treatment is such a favorite for skin quality + collagen stimulation ✨

Trust the process.

I’ve been seeing more and more providers referring to their patients as “clients.”

And while there is an element of customer service in our field, at the end of the day, they are still patients.

Aesthetic medicine is still medicine. These treatments require real training, anatomy knowledge, safety protocols, and clinical judgment.

Using the word patient reinforces that and keeps our specialty aligned with the standards of healthcare, not cosmetic “services.”

An absolutely incredible day with and ✨

So grateful for the opportunity to learn from truly the best of the best. As a surgical PA, anatomy has always been a huge part of my foundation, but seeing facial anatomy through Dr. Cotofana’s perspective was next-level. It was an invaluable experience that will directly translate into safer, more precise, and better results for my injectable patients.

Huge thank you to Allergan for consistently delivering the most top-notch education and training. This is exactly why they continue to set the gold standard in our field 🤍
