B-Fit is our signature fitness program here at Brookdale Senior Living. Here at Florham Park, we participate in the B-Fit fitness program six days a week. We enjoy our class throughout the week with a variety of B-Fit instructors. Here, we have Josephine, our physical therapist, teaching our class to lively music. Staying happy and healthy is what we do best.

Bingo is one of our most favorite activities here at Brookdale Florham Park. Today, we switched it up and displayed the numbers on the big living room TV. Everyone enjoyed this change very much... having multiple ways to keep track of the numbers provided was very helpful to many of our residents. Seven games played and everyone's always a winner here at Florham Park!

What does Brookdale Senior Living Florham Park do when they are experiencing a heat wave? That's right, we make root beer floats and learn about the history of root beer. Its history stretches back to the 18th century, with its roots in medicinal practices. "Small beers" were brewed by colonists for hydration and were perceived to have health benefits. We would say today, as in history, it served our residents well in hydration and health benefits, as you can see it brought smiles to all who enjoy a root beer float.

Brookdale Senior Living Florham Park celebrated so many wonderful birthdays in July. We were so excited to celebrate Vilma and Eleanor both turning 100 years young. Evelyn celebrated her 94th birthday with her family and friends. Delores, Ray, and Patricia all turned 90 years young this month. Audrey celebrated her 79th birthday, and Susan celebrated her 78th. During our celebration, we added it up, and together in July, Brookdale Florham Park was 721 years young this month! Happy Birthday to all of our July birthdays!

At Brookdale Florham Park, we are always so excited when our local clubs come to visit. Just last wee,k our local Girl Scout Brownies came, and we decorated planters and planted seeds to grow in them.
