We are a privately owned counseling center founded in 2011 in Florham Park, New Jersey. One is to dispute them and replace them with counterthoughts.
As Cognitive Behavioral therapists, we specialize in individual, family, couple, child & adolescent therapy. If you are someone who suffers from depression, anxiety, anger, OCD, or other emotional struggles we can help provide tools to not just cope, but also live a rich and meaningful life according to your values. We have found that overcoming negative thoughts and feelings has two main approaches. The other is to accept them and change your relationship with these thoughts. Everyone is different though, and sometimes a little of both works best. If you have any questions or would like to book an appointment, feel free to call or email (973) 845-8430 or desk@cognitivechange.org

We often carry an inner critic that’s louder than it needs to be.
But self-compassion isn’t weakness — it’s the foundation of real growth.
Try this: Next time you make a mistake, speak to yourself like you would a close friend.
You deserve kindness too. 💚
