Today, our PATCHES family came together for a truly bittersweet moment. This is not an easy goodbye for any of us. But sometimes life places unexpected hurdles in our path, asking us to give ourselves the same care we so freely give to others.

While we will miss Shakira more than words can express, we are deeply grateful for the love and unwavering dedication she has poured into our children, families, and staff. She has been such a blessing to PATCHES, and her impact will continue to be felt far beyond her time here.

As she focuses on healing and this next chapter, we ask our community to join us in sending her love and strength. Once PATCHES FAMILY, always PATCHES family! 🫶🏼

And with our own staffed VPK-certified teachers, dedicated learning spaces, and partnerships with , our children are supported with daily learning experiences built right into their care.
