The Hazelwood NEA Mary Jo Giessman Memorial Scholarship is now accepting applications. Interested 2026 Hazelwood School District graduates may apply for a $500 award by visiting https://hazelwoodnea.weebly.com/scholarship.html. The deadline for scholarship applications is May 1.

Congratulations to all of the Hazelwood School District teachers of the year who received awards at last night's Founders' Day. Thank you for all of the hard work and dedication. Our district teacher of the year, Alaina Hubecky, spoke last night about how she wouldn't be up on stage without the support of the entire school community. Seeing all of our winners last night really highlights the importance of celebrating our fellow educators. HNEA is proud to call you members, colleagues, and family.
