I went to my parents church this weeked and this was the scripture lesson and the basis of the sermon:
The Gospel story of Jesus healing the woman who had been bent over for eighteen years is found in the Gospel of Luke, chapter 13, verses 10-17. In the story, Jesus encountered the woman in a synagogue on the Sabbath, called her over, and healed her instantly by laying his hands on her, restoring her to stand up straight. His compassion for her led him to perform this miracle, even when challenged by the synagogue leader who criticized him for working on the Sabbath.

I wanted to thank those of you who either changed your appointment or came in a little early today. This allowed me to be a part of a funeral for an old church friend of mine.

GOOD NEWS MEDICARE FOLKS!!
We received a call from Medicare today stating that we are good to go and we can begin to resubmit all of those old claims...such good news!
I will say this, the folks at Medicare have been very helpful, very supportive and very sympathetic to our situation. We are so appreciative of that kind of customer service!

GOOD NEWS MEDICARE PATIENTS!
Jen talked to our electronic billing company and all claim forms are correct on our end.
Then, I got to talk to a very nice, sympathetic agent at Medicare and she thinks the problem is on their end. We will be getting a call next week that should tell us that they are looking into the problem or they are fixing the problem. YES!
In the meantime, have no fear, come in a see us to get the care you need. Thank you all so much!!

TO OUR MEDICARE PATIENTS
Some of you may get information regarding unpaid claims. We just finished a recredentialing process and for a short period of time we were not allowed to send in claims. When we were allowed to do so, many of them came back with codes saying they were "missing information/NPI numbers". We have checked with our electronic billing company and they assure us that all of the info needed on the claims forms is there. We are now working with Medicare/CMS to correct the problem.
In the meantime, keep coming in for your adjustments as we filter through this issue. Thank you.
