✨ Meet our Executive Director Rachel Dorsey!✨

With a diverse background in healthcare, education, and human resources, I lead with servant leadership, operational excellence, and a passion for empowering people and strengthening organizations. My experience allows me to bridge people, process, and purpose to create environments where teams — and communities — thrive.

Outside of work, I am deeply family-centered. I share my life with Drew, my two beautiful daughters, and my precious granddaughter — my daily inspiration and motivation. ❤️

I’m also passionate about travel, embracing new cultures and experiences whenever possible. Traveling broadens my perspective and fuels my leadership approach.
And if there’s a game on, you’ll likely find me cheering on the Indiana Pacers 🏀 and the Philadelphia Eagles 🏈!

✨ Meet Carmen Smith – Our Memory Care Director ✨

A University City native and Tarkio College graduate, brings over 20 years of experience in senior services to our community. Her passion for Memory Care began after caring for her mother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s — a journey that shaped her deep compassion for residents and families. 💜

She has served as an Activity Director in Independent and Assisted Living and has specialized in Memory Care for over 15 years. Carmen is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and has led support groups through the Alzheimer’s Association.

Outside of work, Carmen is a professional drummer 🥁, active in her church’s music ministry, loves to travel, enjoys ice cream 🍦, quiet rainy days 🌧️, and hosting friends in her home.

We are blessed to have her heart and leadership guiding our Memory Care team! 💙
