We are seeing a lot of RSV right now. It is a common respiratory virus. Most kids are able to manage it at home but sometimes little ones need to go to the hospital. Unfortunately, there is no treatment to make this viral illness go away. This article talks about when to be concerned and what to watch for.

If your baby is under 8 months old and has not received Beyfortus (and mom did not get the RSV vaccine during pregnancy), we can give it in the office if you call to make a nurse appointment.

Almost all children get RSV at least once before they are 2 years old. For most healthy children, RSV is like a cold. But some children get very sick with RSV. Learn the symptoms and how to protect your child.

Flu vaccines are now available. You can call the office to schedule a nurse visit. We will also be having a flu shot clinic on Saturday, October 5, in the lobby of our building. COVID vaccines will also be available at that time. It is by appointment only. You can call 708-799-7600 to be scheduled.
