Last week at House of Goshen, we had the privilege of welcoming healthcare leaders for an evening of learning, collaboration, and connection.

Our CEU presentation, “The Art of Active Listening”—presented by Marcia Hayes-Cody—challenged providers to reflect on how intentional listening builds trust, improves outcomes, and honors the dignity of those we serve.

Alongside this valuable education, attendees enjoyed a guided tour of House of Goshen, networking with peers, and fellowship over food, music, and fellowship.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the LVC Wound Care Network for sponsoring this event, and to our co-hosts, Absolute Medical Group and Mind & Body Wellness for helping make this evening possible.

We are honored to announce the successful completion our CHAP Accreditation status for the House of Goshen. This recognition is not just a milestone; it is a reflection of our team’s unwavering dedication to excellence in care and to honoring the lives entrusted to us.

House of Goshen is Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) licensed and is now an accredited Community Health Accreditation Partner (CHAP). It has been a journey, but we are thankful to God for all the experiences along the way.

This CHAP accreditation affirms that our practices meet the highest national standards in hospice and palliative care. More importantly, it reinforces our calling to walk alongside patients and families with love, integrity, and faith.

To our staff, partners, and community—thank you for your support and prayers on this journey. May we continue to grow, to serve, and to glorify God in all that we do.
