We have some big news at Murray Funeral Home! We are proud to announce our new expansion with the addition of a new funeral home location in Doylestown and our newly opened crematory, Valley Green Crematory.

In July of 2024 we took a big step in expanding our funeral home business by acquiring the Reed & Steinbach Funeral Home in Doylestown. After almost 90 years of caring for the families in Doylestown and surrounding areas, the Steinbach family was ready for retirement and were looking for the right family to continue their family tradition. Almost a year of working together, they felt we were the best fit. These last 12 months have been very busy, managing the smooth transition of ownership, upgrading technology and logistics to manage both locations, and expanding our staff to include full time and part time associates.

Today is another big step forward as we announce that we have opened our own crematory, Valley Green Crematory. With many of our families now choosing cremation arrangements, having our own crematory onsite and not having to outsource allows us to better serve our families, and provides peace of mind knowing their loved one never leaves our care. The crematory is located at our new state of the art funeral home facility in Doylestown.

A big thank you is due to my family who have supported me during this exciting and sometimes stressful moments. Also big thanks to my staff(those who have been with us for many years and those who are new to us) for always helping to put the needs of the families we serve before your own.

Thank you to all of the families who have turned to us for professional services over the last 89 years, it is a responsibility we do not take lightly. From a small row home in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia we have grown. While we may be expanding, our commitment to personal service will always remain our mission.
