Dallas Hospice and Palliative Care is a privately owned hospice agency servicing the North Texas area. DHPC has over 25 years of experience providing patients and their families with compassionate care. Often times individuals and their family do NOT understand hospice or associate it with the last few days of life. Dallas Hospice and Palliative Care fully educates the patient and family of what hospice care is before ever admitting to our care. Hospice care is a team approach to health care that focuses on treating one's symptoms rather than seeking out a cure. Our team of healthcare professionals provide our patients a dedicated hospice aide 5 days a week for hygiene needs, a nurse at least twice a week as well as a social worker and chaplain emotional and spiritual needs. DHPC also provides our patients with access to supplies and equipment such as a hospice bed, oxygen, shower chair, adult pull-ups and all medications related to their hospice diagnosis.
