Hey thanks NBC! Pretty good info here on cervical cancer screening, the causes of cervical cancer, and how to prevent it! Remember that cervical cancer isn’t the only thing we screen for at your annual visit, so even though we may not need a Pap smear every year, you should still try to make it in every year! Talk to your doctor about what screening and frequency is right for you.

We are so excited to officially welcome Dr. Heather Bruce to Obstetrics and Gynecology Associates!

Heather Bruce, D.O. was born in Reston, VA and received her Medical Degree from Touro University Nevada. She completed her residency at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Bruce is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. She has been practicing in a neighboring community for the last 9 years but is excited to start a new adventure with us in Flower Mound! In her spare time, Dr. Bruce enjoys traveling the world, playing tennis, and spending time with her husband, children, and her dogs. She is currently welcoming new patients!

There are several phone companies having difficulties today. Our office phones are working, but if overnight you have any difficulty getting ahold of someone in case of an emergency, this is probably the cause and we recommend proceeding to the nearest emergency room.
