Schools out for Summer! ☀️ If you or your child ends up injured this Summer and needing a C-ray we're here to help! X-rays patients can walk in anytime between 8AM-5PM Monday-Friday & Saturday from 9AM-12PM, as long as you have an order from your doctor!

What to expect when you come in for an appointment with us:
1) The front office staff will get you checked in at the front desk
2) Next they will ask you for a photo ID and your insurance card
3) An iPad will be given to you to fill out your paper work
4) Payment can be processed either on the iPad or at the front desk
5) The staff will take you back for your exam

What is the difference between a Screening Mammogram and a Diagnostic Mammogram?

A Screening Mammogram is a study that is performed on women who are asymptomatic (i.e.-they are having no symptoms with their breasts such as: pain, swelling, a lump, discharge, etc., nor have a history of Breast Cancer within the past 1 to 5 years). These are recommended to be done annually.

A Diagnostic Mammogram is a study that is performed on women who are having symptoms or problems with their breasts (see list above), have a recent history of Breast Cancer, or have an area in their breast that the Radiologist would like to follow closely to make sure that an issue does not develop.

Helpful information: CT IV contrast is also known as iodine. If your CT scan requires IV contrast it is extremely important to be well hydrated. Please drink plenty of water prior to your exam.

Did you know…DEXA, or bone densitometry, is a simple, quick, and noninvasive way to measure bone loss? By using a very small dose of ionizing radiation to produce pictures of the inside of the body (usually the lower spine and hips), doctors are able to diagnose osteoporosis and to assess an individual’s risk for developing fractures. Ask your doctor whether or not the exam is right for you.

Do you need a MRI but have no time to get it done? We're open late! Monday through Friday we schedule MRI exams until 9:00PM and have availability every Saturday from 9:00AM-12:00PM.

Did you know?

As of September 1, 2017 the state of Texas requires that commercial insurance plans must cover the cost of an annual 3D mammogram for routine breast screenings.

What is the difference between Ultrasounds and Sonograms?
Ultrasound is the name of the imaging modality that is used to produce a sonogram which is the actual image.

Do you need a copy of your images from your exam? Not a problem! Just ask the technologist or front office staff for a copy to bring to your follow up appointment with your doctor!
