For over 20 years, I’ve worked with individuals struggling with eating disorders — and I deeply value this work.
Eating disorders are different from other addictions such as alcohol. You can live without alcohol. You cannot live without food. You have to face it multiple times a day.
I call it “the lion” — feeding it, then trying to force it back into a cage.
It’s exhausting.
If your life revolves around calories, the scale, over-exercising, restricting, or using food to cope, you are not weak — you’re caught in a powerful cycle.
I’ve seen many clients break free and build lives they never thought possible.
The lion doesn’t have to control you.
If you’re ready, let’s talk.
: Nearly 1 in 10 people in the U.S. will have an eating disorder during the course of their lifetime. However, with treatment and long-term recovery supports, nearly 7 in 10 of eating disorder patients will make a full recovery.
