My heart is so full after our Christmas event last night. 🎅❤️

Thank you to every family who came by, took photos, enjoyed cookies, and helped us raise money to pay down unpaid school lunch balances for local students. This community always shows up. 💚

I also want to thank the folks who made the evening extra special:
• Photos with Santa were hosted by the Korey Anderson-Hall County Commission District 1 campaign
• Hot chocolate was hosted by Wellness Worx

If you couldn’t make it but still want to help, we’ll continue collecting donations at the office through December 18. Every dollar goes toward giving kids a clean slate in the lunchroom. If you’d like to donate to the school directly, let me know and I’m happy to connect you.

🎄📸 You’re Invited! Photos with Santa & Christmas Meet and Greet 🎄📸

Tomorrow — Friday, December 5th from 5–7 PM — we’re hosting a cozy, family-friendly Christmas event to celebrate Korey Anderson’s campaign to be Hall County Commissioner for District 1!

Bring the kids (and the kids at heart 😉) for:

So proud to stand on the shoulders of giants like her.

In the mid-1800s, Lucy Beaman Hobbs faced rejection after rejection — medical and dental schools simply told her “no” because of her gender.

Instead of giving up, she studied privately, opened her own practice, and quickly earned respect from patients and peers. Her determination finally forced the Ohio College of Dental Surgery to admit her, and in 1866 she became the first woman in America to earn a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

Lucy’s courage reshaped dentistry. By the early 1900s, nearly a thousand women had followed her path. Today, her name remains a symbol of resilience and progress — a reminder that barriers exist only until someone breaks them.

Update: Alyssa has undergone two surgeries and will have a third surgery on Wednesday to try and save her knee. Thank you everyone who has already reached out to help!

You may have had a chance to meet Alyssa this holiday season when she was shadowing me at the office. She wants to be a pediatric dentist. Right now she is focused on staying alive and fully recovering from losing her leg so she can get back to accomplishing her goals. I have no doubt that she’ll overcome because she is a strong and determined person. Please help us in raising money for her recovery and her mother to relieve some of the pressure that comes with a family emergency. My husband and I have known Jenifer since childhood. It couldn’t go to better people.
