Alma is our new Embryologist in the IVF Laboratory at Women's Specialty Care Mirror Lake. Originally from Mexico, Alma brings a wealth of experience and education with a bachelorโ€™s degree in Chemistry from the University of Nuevo Leรณn and a masterโ€™s in Assisted Reproductive Techniques from the University of Valencia, Spain. ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฝ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ‡ธ

She has called Mississippi home for the past four years and is married with four children (ages 7 to 21!) and two adorable dogs, Red and Firulais. ๐Ÿพ

In her spare time, Alma enjoys exploring nature, boating with family and friends, and staying active with Zumba and cycle classes! ๐Ÿšดโ€โ™€๏ธ๐ŸŒณ

Alma chose UMMC for its prestigious reputation and is proud to be part of a team leading the way in fertility and reproductive medicine. Her favorite part of her job? Helping people build their families โ€” a mission close to her heart through her own personal infertility journey. โค๏ธ
