✨ August Nurse of the Month –
Shikeeta Barry, RN ✨

We are so excited to celebrate our August Nurse of the month! 👏👩🏽‍⚕️

Shikeeta is passionate about both nursing and lifelong learning. She recently graduated in Summer 2025 from The University of North Alabama with her MSN in Education, and she isn’t stopping there! She’s already enrolled at South College to pursue her Post-Master’s Family Nurse Practitioner degree.📜

Outside of nursing, Shikeeta has a true love for traveling the world. 🌍She is part of a travel group that takes at least one international trip every year, allowing her to explore new cultures, broaden her perspective, and create memories that last a lifetime.✈️

But above all, her proudest achievement is her three children, who inspire her every day:
👮 One working in law enforcement
❤️ One a dedicated caregiver
🦷 Her youngest, pursuing a career in dental school

She says they are truly her pride and joy, and we can easily see why!

When she’s not studying or traveling, Shikeeta is eager to try new experiences, including her very FIRST spa visit! 🧖🏾‍♀️🛀🏾

✨ July Nurse of the Month – Bryce Ramsey, RN ✨

We are thrilled to introduce this incredible soul to you this month!

Oh Bryce, we need more like you! 🩵

With 15 years of nursing experience, Bryce is the perfect combination of heart, skill, and determination. She is also a 5-year colon cancer 💙survivor and the proud Mrs. Mississippi Plus America 2024 👑 Settle down, girl. You’re making us look bad!

In December, she celebrated another huge accomplishment: completing her MSN in Healthcare Administration from Ole Miss—Summa Cum Laude! A double Ole Miss alum, she proudly says, “Hotty Toddy!”

Outside of nursing, Bryce’s life is full of love and family. She has been married for five years and is part of a fun, blended family that includes a stepdaughter, Taylor, and stepson, Jake. She is also a proud boy mom to Ashton and Emree.

When she’s not caring for patients, you can find her soaking up country life with her horses, cows, chickens, and MASSIVE dogs—including a 150-pound English Mastiff who still thinks he’s a lap dog! 🐾 She’s a big fan of Diet Coke, cookies, and loaded teas, and she never passes up a sunny beach day or quality time with family.

Bryce, your strength, compassion, and dedication inspire us all. Thank you for everything you bring to our team—we’re so proud to celebrate YOU as our July Nurse of the Month! 🌟👏

If your workplace isn’t sending you a handwritten birthday card and gift card… what are you even doing? 😋

At KTH, we believe life is worth celebrating. That’s why every nurse and patient gets a birthday surprise in the mail. Every single year.

We started this tradition when we were just a small company, and even as we’ve grown, we’ve never let it go. It takes time (and lots of trips to the post office 💌), but showing our appreciation will always be worth it.

✨ June Nurse of the Month ✨

We’re excited to introduce our amazing Nurse of the Month for June - Carrie Reazor, RN!

Carrie has been a nurse for an incredible 31 years. Her journey began on a pediatric floor in a small hospital, and over the years she’s worn many hats—including her time as a school nurse, which she describes as both the hardest and most rewarding role of her career.

After taking time off to care for her daughter, who was diagnosed with epilepsy in sixth grade, Carrie returned to nursing with a renewed passion. Today, her daughter is following in her footsteps and hopes to work on a neuro pediatric floor to give back and help others walking a similar path.

Carrie says, “I never expected being a private duty nurse to become more than just caring for a patient. It’s about becoming part of their family and doing whatever I can to make their lives just a little easier. It’s truly an honor to care for Macie and to spend time with her and her parents.”

But above all of these accomplishments, her proudest achievements are her three children!

📊 A younger son studying mathematics and economics

When Carrie is not saving lives, she enjoys Aruba where she and her husband love to snorkel, hike, swim, and explore the island together. They also love jamming to live music, especially 80s concerts. And she can’t leave out a good snuggle sesh with her puppy! 🐶

Carrie, we are so thankful for the heart, dedication, and compassion you bring to our team. Now it’s time to take off your nurses cap for a night and put on something fancy to enjoy a nice dinner at Elfo Grisanti’s! Congratulations, Carrie! You earned the title👏

It’s not a competition.

There are no medals for attending the most therapy appointments.

No trophies for hitting milestones ahead of the curve. No podiums, no platforms, no rankings.

Here are Knit Together, there are no first-place finishers.

We celebrate the big wins and the brave attempts.

Because life with a medically fragile child is messy, beautiful, and wildly unpredictable.

Hospital stays happen.

Schedules fall apart.

Insurance denies the things you use every day.

And by now, you’ve learned — no two moments ever look the same.

So take a breath.

If you feel like lacing up and running, great.

If today looks more like flip flops and just soaking in the moment, that’s perfect too.

You are not behind. You are not late. You are not less.

You’re running your own race.
Some days it’s a marathon.
Some days you’re crawling.
But this race? It’s yours. No one in front. No one behind.

Just you and your child, setting the pace.

✨May Nurse of the Month✨

This month, we are so excited to introduce this jewel of a person, Jamesia Morris, RN

At the age of 19, she started her nursing career as an LPN. While her first job was at an amazing LTAC facility, she has since ventured into hospice, acute bedside care, clinic nursing, and now private duty! In 2023, Jamesia became BSN, RN. Currently, she is working to add 3 more letters - MSN!

“I absolutely LOVE what I do, and I'm so blessed that God thought enough of me to give me this huge heart for helping! My kids are my reason for most everything, and it's so exciting to see how nursing has shaped them into the super caring tiny humans that they are today! All in all, I've had a BLAST working with this company, and I am so honored to be a part of this awesome team!”

FUN FACTS: Jamesia wants everyone to know that she PROUDLY can do a cartwheel 🤸without hurting herself, AND can sing without breaking any glass! 🍸(please hold the applause) 🤣
